This will be the fall welcome meeting for the Ethnographies of Empire Research Cluster, sponsored by the SIS Office of Research. We invite scholars whose work uses ethnography, critical theory, and historical research to join us as we interrogate structures of domination rooted in historical legacies and contemporary iterations of “empire,” broadly conceived.
