CAS offers flexible online and in-person events and open houses for prospective students

American University's College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) offers more than 50 graduate degrees and certificates across the humanities, sciences, arts, and social sciences. Each program reflects AU’s philosophy that academic training plus real-world professional experience is the best way to prepare students to become leaders in their fields.

Join the College of Arts & Sciences for an exploration of graduate school. Our Graduate Open Houses give prospective students an opportunity to meet with faculty and university representatives to learn more about our programs and what it's like to be an American University graduate student. 

  • Friday, October 27, 2023: In-person Open House
    Register now for Oct. 27
    This event takes place on AU's main campus and includes faculty visits, campus tour, and an evening reception.
  • Friday, November 3, 2023: Virtual Open House
    Register now for Nov. 3
    This event will be held over the Zoom platform and includes private chat rooms with faculty.
