Applying to the SPA Leadership Program

Offered by the School of Public Affairs, this 15-credit undergraduate program in leadership studies nurtures a select number of talented students in the skills and knowledge required to be effective leaders in their professional careers. Admission into the SPA Leadership Program is based on (1) two essays demonstrating interest in leadership in public affairs, (2) a 1-page (only) resume (in MS Word) and (3) 2 references [no recommendation letter required], listed on the online application form (Note: Please be sure references will be reachable for the selection process. No need to list references on resume since they are listed on the application form.) The application process is now closed for fall 2023. We look forward to viewing your completed application. Please note the SPA Leadership Program (SPALP) will not be accepting applications for the coming fall semesters until further notice.
