The Center for Well-Being Programs and Psychological Services
Welcome to American University’s Center for Well-Being Programs and Psychological Services. We're here for all AU students, whether you're full-time or part-time, undergraduate or graduate, and our services are always free and confidential.
Through the Well-Being Center, you can find a full range of wellness-related services, including individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, victim/survivor advocacy services, crisis intervention (through AUProtoCall Services at 202-885-7979), alcohol and other drug education, consultations, and other wellness-related programming. To learn more, explore "Our Services" in the navigation bar.
We are committed to creating a welcoming and affirming space where all members of the AU community are valued. Please see our statement on the Confronting Injustice Webpage, where you can also find other helpful resources.

AU has partnered with TELUS Health (formerly LifeWorks) to provide students with the "TELUS Health Student Support" app. The "TELUS Health Student Support" app provides solution-focused, culturally informed support for students studying in DC or abroad. This app can be used for finding community referrals or to receive on-going support. The app is free and is available on all platforms.
